Supercapacitor performances of titanium–polymeric nanocomposites: a review study

This review article presents a research and technological investigation on supercapacitors describes the recent advances of titanium-based materials in these areas. The introduction covers properties titanium materials, electrochemical performances total stored charges, electric double layer capacitance (EDLC), pseudocapacitance. following two sections focus synthesis results carbide (Ti3C2Tx) nitride (TiN), respectively. In last section this review, role dioxide (TiO2) is demonstrated TiO2-based, carbon/TiO2-based, metal/TiO2-based, conducting polymer/TiO2 nanocomposites. Many factors affect performance supercapacitor devices, such as doping process, conductivity, interaction between components nanocomposite, electrolyte type, structure etc. end, future perspectives challenges are summarized considered for TiO2-based nanocomposite supercapacitors.
